How CBW collects and protects your data under Sri Lanka's PDPA No. 09 of 2022 — what we gather, why, and the control you keep over it.
Who we are

What we collect
- Contact details — name, phone / WhatsApp number, email, and the messages you send us
- Project information — site photos and measurements taken on the free measure visit, and notes needed to quote or build
- Crew records — kept for site safety and payment administration [OWNER TODO: HR records policy]
Why we keep it & on what basis
Under Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act, No. 09 of 2022, we treat personal data with purpose limits: we use your details to quote, run and complete your project (performance of a contract), keep safety and payment records (legitimate interests), and only send you anything promotional with your say-so (consent). Sharing
We don’t sell your data. Where a project needs it (for example a materials supplier arranging delivery), sharing stays minimal and is limited to what the job requires.
How long we keep it
Project records stay while a job runs and for a reasonable period afterwards. [OWNER TODO: retention schedule]
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, or object to how it’s used. Email or WhatsApp your request and we respond within two working hours with the plan. This right applies to the data described on this page.
Complaints
